About this role
Overview
This position reports to the Associate Dean for Educational Assessment and Evaluation in the Office of Medical Education. This position provides administrative support to the assessment and evaluation team and assists with the creation and administration of surveys using Qualtrics, Blue Explorance and other systems for the MD program.
Responsibilities
- Supports the creation, administration, monitoring, and completion of student evaluations.
- Assists with data preparation, basic data analysis, organization and storage, and reporting.
- Collaborates with faculty and staff to ensure accuracy in assessment data and facilitates effective data-sharing processes.
- Reports data to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assists with scheduling, coordination, and documentation of meetings.
- Assists with proctoring in the Testing Center
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Internet.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with public, partners, customers, and co-workers; while working cooperatively and effectively with others to achieve common goals.
- Ability to manage time and resources to ensure assignments are completed accurately and deadlines are met. Meets attendance/punctuality requirements.
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments, work priorities, and organizational needs. Take independent action to address and resolve problems.
- Ability to express ideas effectively and demonstrate sound judgment with regard to decision-making.
- Ability to deal with others in a direct honest manner and comply with all EVMS policies, procedures, and relevant government regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Five (5) years of administrative experience.
- Experience working in medical education is preferred.
