Asset Manager (Dutch-speaking)

Whom are we looking for?

At Ampowr, Asset Management serves as the critical bridge between our installed-base assets and our customers. As an Asset Manager, you represent a pivotal shift in accountability: once a project is commissioned, ownership transitions from Sales and the Project Management Office (PMO) directly to you. From that moment until the end of the asset's lifecycle, you are the definitive owner of its success.

You will act as the primary point of contact for the customer, balancing commercial acumen with technical oversight to ensure our energy storage systems operate at peak performance, remain fully compliant, and deliver on their commercial promise.

What it takes to be successful in this role:

• Customer management: Serve as the ultimate accountability owner and primary liaison for installed-base customers. You will manage operational escalations, oversee SLAs, and handle contract renewals, continuously evaluating asset performance against contractual KPIs and revenue models like tolling and grid services.

• Asset & Lifecycle Management: Act as the vital bridge between customers and technical teams. You will coordinate Field Service deployments, facilitate Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), and oversee maintenance execution. Proactively monitor BESS performance and degradation while developing comprehensive lifecycle strategies, from system upgrades to end-of-life decommissioning.

• Risk management: Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks across the portfolio, ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

• Continuous improvement: You will also drive the professionalisation of our asset management processes and reporting dashboards to support rapid organisational scaling.

What will you bring?

• HBO/WO degree in Energy Systems or Engineering;
• 5-7 years of experience in technical asset management or operations, ideally within BESS, renewables, or critical infrastructure.
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English is a pre.
• You are highly customer-centric, possess strong contractual acumen, and excel at translating complex technical challenges for commercial stakeholders.
• Bonus points if you have: hands-on experience managing hardware performance profiles, and the ability to independently conduct FMEAs and RCAs.
