My client is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant ideally with Practice experience (although not essential).

The role will involve:

·Year-end accounts preparation in readiness for client meetings.

·Managing a portfolio of clients using Xero, Quickbooks and Sage to produce accurate accounts information;

·Working from the office and at client premises as needed (rare but needs to be factored in);

·Producing accurate client management accounts in line with their agreed frequency;

·Reviewing clients records prior to completing and submitting VAT returns;

·Supporting clients with managing their bookkeeping on ad hoc basis (rare as we have bookkeepers but again needs to be factored in);

·Communication with clients via telephone and email;

·Ensuring compliance with local CCF systems and procedures.

The package

·Salary of £22,000 - £25,000 depending on skill set (may be negotiable)

Qualifications

AAT Level 4 / CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified

VAT Experience

Sage

Xero

Quickbooks

FreeAgent

General IT Experience – Excel

Working on multiple client projects
