Assistant Art Production & Installation (f/m/x)

The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is a non-political and non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening and uniting European Radiology. With more than 149,000 members worldwide, it has become the largest radiological society that organises one of the most innovative scientific congresses in this field, the ** European Congress of Radiology** (ECR), in Vienna.

We are looking for a hands-on and creative individual to join our design atelier as a full-time (38.5h) team member.

Tasks

• Installation of sculptures and decorative elements
• Painting and surface preparation
• Supporting the creation of sculptures and custom-made objects
• Preparation of materials used for artistic pieces
• Assisting with exhibition set up and dismantling
• Packaging, transportation and organisation of artworks and materials
• Taking care of small repairs, drilling, hanging of pictures and artworks

Requirements

• Good English skills
• Basic electrical skills
• Experienced in using workshop tools
• Computer skills (e.g. sending emails, internet research)
• Experience in art installation, events, carpentry, stage set building, exhibitions or similar fields is a plus
• Creative and artistic mindset
• Proactive approach and a hands-on mentality
• Great organisational skills

The monthly gross salary for this position is at least € 2,400.00 (14 times per year). The final salary depends on your relevant experience and qualifications and can be negotiated.
