Job Summary
Regents' Glen Country Club is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the Food & Beverage Director in overseeing daily operations across The Fairway Table restaurant, poolside dining, and Club events. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with solid restaurant experience who's ready to grow into a leadership position within a well-established, member-focused country club environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Food & Beverage Director with day-to-day management of restaurant, poolside, and event dining operations
- Help lead, schedule, and supervise FOH staff, stepping in on the floor during peak service
- Support staff training, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure consistent service quality and guest satisfaction for members and guests
- Help monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls in coordination with the F&B Director
- Assist with staffing coverage across the restaurant and pool during evenings, weekends, and special events
- Address member and guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Help enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout F&B operations
- Step in for the F&B Director as needed to ensure continuity of operations
Qualifications
- Restaurant experience required; supervisory or assistant management experience a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, including special events
- Comfortable managing staff and operations across multiple service areas (restaurant and pool)
- Professional, member-focused demeanor with strong problem-solving skills
