About this role
Position responsible for
- Identify direct & indirect purchase requisitions in scope , analyse them .
- Create Purchase orders for materials having info records & get them approved through authority matrix
- Coordinate with central sourcing team for necessary Info records & get them done in system by close coordination
- Float RFQ for plant specific materials & services, compare cost & get approval from authority matrix.
- Coordination with design, sales Quality , MRP functions for day to day activities.
- Provide necessary inputs for material master creation .
- Cost saving - Ensure cost saving against set target by various cost reduction methods like alternate sourcing , VA/VE, price negotiations .
- Prepare & maintain required documents for Audit.
- Prepare weekly PR analysis report & submit to management
- Coordination with finance team for timely release of payments to vendor
- Maintain statutory compliance of function
