What we are looking for?
This position serves as a key contributor to the Investment Operations team, overseeing business-as-usual operations across a diverse range of wealth products. The role encompasses end-to-end product oversight, including post-trade operations, liquidity management, process controls, exception handling, and product development support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily post-trade operations across multiple asset classes, including funding, trade matching, settlement, reconciliation, and lifecycle management;
- Execute end-to-end corporate action processing, with accountability for exception identification and resolution;
- Manage transfer requests, primary market operations, and other wealth product-related activities;
- Provide operational support to the Client Services team in resolving client inquiries;
- Conduct reconciliation and verification of general ledger entries and system records;
- Support risk and control governance through evidence preparation, MIS reporting, and audit coordination;
- Exercise sound judgment in resolving operational issues and escalating matters where appropriate;
- Identify and implement process enhancements to drive operational efficiency and strengthen risk controls;
- Collaborate with Business and Technology stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately translated into delivered solutions.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in middle office, asset servicing, equities operations, or equivalent roles within banking, securities, asset management, or other financial services institutions;
- Broad knowledge of investment products (preferred);
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong risk awareness and disciplined escalation approach;
- Excellent communication skills, proactive engagement, and demonstrated ability to work effectively with external counterparties;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with adaptability in a dynamic environment;
- Flexibility to provide support during Hong Kong public holidays and outside regular business hours as required;
- Solid understanding of banking and investment industry practices and procedures.
