Assistant PM/Estimator

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager with Estimating experience for a full-time opportunity with a well-established electrical company based out of Enfield, CT.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an electrical construction background who is looking to take the next step in their career. The individual will assist with managing commercial electrical projects throughout Connecticut, working closely with project managers, field personnel, and other members of the team to help ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management and coordination of commercial electrical projects throughout Connecticut.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project execution.
• Assist with estimating, preparing bids, and reviewing project costs.
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Help track project progress, materials, labor, and expenses.
• Maintain communication with customers and project stakeholders.
• Provide general project management support to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical construction is strongly preferred.
• Estimating experience is required.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Estimator, or similar role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
• Electrical license is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
