Job Summary:

The Dicke College of Business Administration at Ohio Northern University welcomes applicants for a non-tenure, renewable-track, assistant professor position in Sport Management.

We seek a talented individual who is (1) passionate about teaching both lower-division and upper-division undergraduate Sport Management courses, (2) committed to scholarship that involves undergraduates, and (3) invested in student success. A Ph.D.or ABD in Sport Management or a related discipline is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and academic advising, possessing excellent teaching and mentoring skills as well as evidence of research and or publications in peer reviewed journals that would qualify the applicant for rank of Assistant Professor.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate Sport Management courses, including principles of sport management and upper-level sport management topics, as well as other areas consistent with the candidate’s professional background. Scholarly research and publication are expected. Additional responsibilities include advising undergraduate students, scholarship and mentoring undergraduate research, and service.
