Purpose of Position
- CASETiFY is seeking a sophisticated tax professional to oversee our global fiscal footprint. The Assistant Taxation Manager (Global Taxation) will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance while providing strategic insights into our international expansion. This role demands a high level of technical precision, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to navigate complex cross-border tax environments within a fast-paced, high-growth corporate structure.
Job Description
- Manage and execute the end-to-end indirect tax compliance (VAT/GST/Sales Tax) across all operating markets, ensuring full accuracy and timely filing.
- Develop and maintain the Group’s Transfer Pricing documentation. Monitor intercompany transactions to ensure they adhere to arm's length principles and support the global supply chain strategy.
- Partner with the supply chain teams to evaluate the tax implications of international trade routes and identify opportunities for fiscal efficiency and duty optimization.
- Act as the tax consultant for new market entries. This includes managing tax registrations, identifying local tax risks, and establishing the structural foundation for new legal entities.
- Monitor global tax legislative changes and assess their potential impact on the business. Provide clear, actionable briefings to senior leadership.
- Lead periodic internal tax reviews and coordinate with external auditors to ensure robust control environments and minimize exposure during tax inquiries.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Professional accreditation (CPA, CTA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in taxation, with significant exposure to indirect tax and transfer pricing. A background in a Big 4 firm or a multinational corporation (MNC) is preferred.
- Proven ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into strategic financial recommendations.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong command of English (written and verbal). Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-finance stakeholders with clarity and poise.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously under rigorous deadlines.
- You thrive in fast-paced, "startup-to-scaleup" environments and are passionate about design, tech accessories, and the lifestyle industry.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Taxation Officer.
