The Role

We are looking for a passionate intern to join us in building the next generation of our risk control infrastructure. You won't just be getting coffee; you will be writing production code that directly protects the company from financial loss.

You will work alongside senior engineers and data scientists to design and implement features that detect anomalies, manage rule engines, and visualize threat landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services (APIs, microservices) that power the risk decision engine.
• Real-Time Processing: Contribute to the development of streaming data pipelines (using Kafka/Flink) to process user behavior events in real-time.
• Rule Engine Optimization: Assist in optimizing the performance of the rule execution engine to handle high concurrency and low latency.
• Data Analysis: Write complex SQL queries to analyze user behavior patterns and identify new fraud trends.
• Dashboard Creation: Build internal monitoring dashboards to visualize risk metrics, system health, and fraud attack rates.
• Testing: Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability of the risk control system.

Required Qualifications

• Graduating for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python
• Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Distributed Systems concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases and familiarity with NoSQL.
• Ability to think logically about "edge cases" and adversarial behavior.
