Job Summary:
Responsible for implementing direct sales and service activities of credit cards acceptance to merchants, and liaison with payment partners, with the objective to expand the merchant base and improve merchant acceptance.
Main Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of merchant strategic sales and service plan.
Attain the team’s targeted sales volume by soliciting and maintaining profitable merchants with the support from a Merchant Sales Manager
Plan and implement various merchant partnership programs to achieve the assigned business target and to grow the card processing volume
Exercise risk assessment for new merchants by closely monitors the merchant sales activity on regular basis.
Possess strong and extensive merchant partnership and business network , especially for the payment / FinTech network. Strong eCommerce knowledge is an advantage.
Maximize business prospects and cross-selling opportunities by maintaining close contact with branches and other teams/departments within the Bank
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in payment industry for AVP
Proficient in data analysis tools, and payment processing systems
