Assistive Technology Consultant (SLP,OT)

About the role

As anAssistive Technology Consultant,you will play a key role in improving outcomes for individuals with disabilities while increasing awareness of TobiiDynavoxproducts and services. You will provide high-quality support through both remote and in-person consultation while building long-term relationships with clinicians, stakeholders, and end users.

This role primarily coversWestern Australia (WA),where you willcollaborateclosely with our Clinical Team,and Technical Support Team to ensure solutions are aligned with the needs of clinicians, stakeholders, and users.

Please Note:This is ahybrid rolebased inPerth, WA, with flexibility to work3-5 days per week. The role includes regular travel across the Perth metropolitan area and surrounding regionswith occasional interstate travel. Candidates should belocatedwithin a reasonable driving distance of Perth.Preferred start date ismid-September,withflexibility toaccommodateanOctober start.

In this role you will:

• Strengthen and growTobiiDynavox’spresence across primarilyWA as well as interstate.

• Support clinicians and their clients throughout product trials, while building andmaintainingstrong professional relationships.

• Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and information events focused on assistive technology and AAC.

• Stay up to date withevidence‑based practicesand developments in the field.

• RepresentTobiiDynavoxat conferences, expos, and industry events across Australia.

Ideal candidates will bring:

• Demonstrated knowledge and3-7 years’ experiencewithAugmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), including supporting AAC assessments, recommending and prescribing AAC devices, and contributing to funding applications.

• Experiencein settings such as hospitals, schools, private practice, therapy organisationsasaSpeech PathologistorOccupational Therapist.

• Eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership or currentAHPRAregistration isrequired.

• Excellentinterpersonal, communication,andpresentationskills, with the ability to engage clinicians, stakeholders, and end users, understand diverse needs, build trusted relationships, and confidently support recommendations and decisions.

• Aproactiveandresourceful approachto problem-solving, with the ability tonavigate clinical enquiries, ask questions,and work independently while knowing when to seek guidance and collaborateeffectivelywith others.

• Agrowth mindsetand a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travelisrequired.
