Sarji Law Firm is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join their legal team. The associate attorney will provide legal representation to clients navigating the family court system, demonstrating strong advocacy skills, professionalism, and a commitment to justice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family court proceedings for divorce, custody, support, and protective orders.
  • Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide case strategy recommendations.
  • Negotiate settlements and work collaboratively with opposing counsel when appropriate.
  • Interview and counsel clients, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Manage case files and deadlines efficiently.
  • Participate in mediation, hearings, and trials as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant family law statutes and court procedures.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • 2+ years of experience in South Carolina Family Court
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and ethical practice.
  • Litigation experience is required
