We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join a closely knit workers’ compensation team and contribute to a focused, high-performing practice. This position is ideal for someone who is ready to work hard, collaborate closely with experienced attorneys, and grow within a stable practice that values timely, high-quality work and direct mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution, with guidance and oversight as needed.
- Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, and related litigation tasks.
- Review medical records and assist with fact development and case strategy.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and timely billing to manage workload and case flow efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure consistent, high-quality work product.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of litigation experience required; workers' compensation experience is preferred.
- Litigation experience is strongly valued, including experience in personal injury or matters involving medical records and damages analysis.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently while being open to feedback, supervision, and growth.
