Main Responsibilities

Organize venue and AV contracts for all components of the conference and competition (i.e. delegate socials, networking events, and conference rooms)

Coordinate with third parties to secure transportation, food, and other required items for the conference, competition, and all programming leading up to the main event

Create event schedules and logistic plans for all execs
-
Lead event set up and take down

Delegate and clearly communicate tasks, schedules, and requirements to the SDR Executive Team and Volunteers for the days of the event

Lead speaker and competitor experience throughout the conference and workshops
Qualifications

Previous event planning experience is an asset

Organization and timeliness

Able to adapt to unforeseen circumstances

Professional communication skills, along with the ability to speak credibly to strategy, tech, and boutique firms

Excellent multitasker, able to prioritize and possesses project management skills

Ability to prepare for and adapt to changing circumstances/unforeseen situations
