We are Ireland’s leading legal advisors for contentious public sector matters and we act for many of the State’s largest and most significant public bodies across multiple mandates of sectoral and national significance.
Requirements
Due to continued growth, we have a need for a talented and ambitious Associate with 2-6 years’ PQE to join our department.
The ideal candidate will have post qualification experience in both Dispute Resolution and Regulatory matters from a leading law firm in Ireland or internationally.
We have the following minimum requirements:
- An excellent academic record.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational, financial and time management skills.
- A proven ability to work as part of a team.
- A high level of motivation and a willingness to engage in the ongoing learning and development of the team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and assisting with a range of cases before the superior courts and in alternative dispute resolution.
- Managing and assisting with a range of regulatory matters including investigations, enforcement actions and strategic advisory work.
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, witness statements, submissions and settlement agreements.
- Conducting legal research and providing strategic advice.
- Liaising with counsel.
- Managing and developing client relationships.
- Supervising and developing junior colleagues.
- Providing support to other business units as required.
- Providing ongoing training to colleagues and clients
