KeystoneCare is seeking a compassionate and experienced physician to serve as an **Associate Palliative Care Medical Director **. Requirements
- Provide medical oversight and clinical guidance for the palliative care program
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, social work, chaplaincy, etc.) to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Conduct patient evaluations and ongoing clinical management for palliative care patients
- Support symptom management, advance care planning, and goals-of-care discussions
- Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide education and mentorship to clinical staff
- Collaborate with referring physicians, hospitals, and community partners
Qualifications
- MD or DO with a current, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
- Board certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (preferred) or relevant experience in palliative care, hospice, oncology, or internal medicine
- DEA registration (active and in good standing)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience (palliative or hospice preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
