About the Role

CodeNinja is looking for an Associate Project Manager (APM) to support the management and enablement of engineering teams working across multiple customer engagements.

The role requires someone who can work closely with engineers, maintain team discipline, manage expectations, resolve day-to-day issues, and ensure that internal priorities are completed effectively. The ideal candidate should have a technical background, strong people management skills, and practical exposure to Generative AI, including AI agents and AI-enabled productivity tools.

This role is suitable for someone who is organized, assertive, people-focused, and comfortable working with senior engineers in a fast-paced services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day people follow-ups and team-level execution across engineering teams.
• Ensure engineers remain aligned with internal expectations, priorities, and professional standards.
• Drive accountability and timely completion of assigned internal initiatives and action items.
• Maintain regular engagement with engineers across onsite, hybrid, and remote setups.
• Identify team concerns, blockers, communication gaps, and performance risks early.
• Handle minor conflicts and people-related issues professionally.
• Promote the use of Generative AI tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Support teams in exploring practical AI use cases, including AI agents, automation, and workflow improvement.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in project management, people management, delivery support, technical coordination, or similar roles.
• Experience working with software engineering teams.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and technical professionals.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to get work done through people.
• Practical experience with Generative AI tools and AI-assisted productivity.
• Understanding of AI agents, automation workflows, or agentic AI platforms.
