The Position

Asst. Manager Taxation

Job Summary

Key task:

 Compliance & Filings: Ensure timely filing of direct and indirect taxes (e.g., GST, TDS, advance tax). Oversee the reconciliation of
Input Tax Credit (ITC) and finalize annual returns
 Litigation Management: In consultation with Tax consultants, Lead communications with tax authorities. Prepare and manage
submissions, replies, and appeals regarding past or ongoing assessments.
 Tax Planning & Strategy: Identify and implement legal tax-saving opportunities to minimize company liabilities and optimize working
capital
 Risk & Governance: Monitor changing tax legislation to mitigate financial risks and ensure adherence to transfer pricing and cross-
border regulatory frameworks
 Reporting & Audits: Facilitate tax audits, prepare management information systems (MIS) reports, and handle data requests from
internal and external stakeholders
 Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing Innovative Tax Solutions to streamline
Operations and Drive Efficiency
 Accounts Payable Management: Manage end-to-end processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, payables ageing and payment
runs, ensure payments are done accurately and on time, reconcile AP balances, lead month-end and year-end closing processes
 Vendor Management: Support Vendor code creation, assess Vendor, resolve escalated discrepancies/disputes, support internal and
external audits by providing required documentation.
 Statutory Audit: Support Finance Manager in Statutory Audit in interacting with the Auditors and finalization of statutory accounts.
 Internal Controls : Implement and maintain internal financial controls to minimize risks and strictly comply with systems and
procedures as communicated by HO from time to time with specific reference to AAC / Floqast
 Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional colleagues

Education and Experience requirements:
 Chartered Accountant 4+ years of relevant post qualification experience for Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of
relevant experience . Experience in Manufacturing set up and working in a multi-national organization preferred.
 Must have good knowledge of Direct Taxes & Indirect Taxes, Internal Controls & Audits
 Should have knowledge of Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and Internal Audit
 Demonstrate ability to develop relationships & influence key decision makers internally & externally
 Exposure to SAP

 Ability to interpret basic financial data.
 Excellent communication skills, able to facilitate discussions and prepare presentations
 Ability to lead and deal with senior managers across organization
 Good management skill-Computer literate with good working knowledge in GSuite
 English, Hindi , Telugu language (Preferable)
