Job Description
Performs Engineering work in operations, production,constructionor maintenanceenvironments Responsibilitiesare within the Engineering Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
KeyResponsibilities:
Acoustic engineer supports audio system design, conducts audio performance evaluation and tuning of vehicle audio systems to achieve Bose premium sound. He or she will be capable of helping us to move toward more efficient and automated tuning.
Support audio system design at concept stage
Conduct audio system performance evaluation atconceptstage. Complete concept car audio tuning and get both internal and customer agreement.
Support speaker layout/package activities during development
Measureand analyze acoustical and electrical systemperformance
Conduct audio tuning of prototype vehicles at customer site and get agreement of both internal to Bose and customer.
Documentation/reporting to internal and customer
Conduct audits of production vehicles to make sure the acousticperformanceare reproduced as intended.
Conductcomponentlevel acoustic evaluation as needed.
Submit requireddocuments inrelated to activities above both internaland tocustomer.
Attend design review to confirm audio performance as needed.
Support our technology event –mainly conducttechnical demonstration
In vehicle and bench testing of amplifier function verification

Qualification, Education and Experiences:
Bachelor’s or masterdegreeofelectrical engineering, acoustic engineering or physicsrequired.
Experience or knowledge in the acoustic design,analysisand measurementrequired.
Experience in DSPapplicationrequired.
Experience in automotive engineering preferred.
Experience in software design, development preferred.
