We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Assistant Manager to join our growing Audit team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of audit clients, managing relationships and delivering a high-quality client experience while identifying opportunities to support their ongoing growth and success.
  • Plan, prioritise and oversee audit assignments from start to finish, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, within budget and in line with Kreston Reeves' quality standards.
  • Review and deliver complex audit work, including consolidations and technical audit areas, while resolving issues and providing guidance on more challenging assignments.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication, leading audit planning and close meetings, and providing proactive advice that adds value beyond the audit.
  • Work collaboratively with Partners and colleagues across the firm to deliver joined-up client service and identify opportunities to introduce additional Kreston Reeves services.
  • Lead, coach and develop Audit Seniors, Semi Seniors and Assistants, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Monitor workflow, budgets, billing and audit file completion, ensuring deadlines are met, compliance requirements are maintained and work is completed to the highest professional standards.
  • Support the continued growth of the Audit team by contributing to business development activities, networking, client meetings, presentations and thought leadership where appropriate.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance audit efficiency, improve processes and deliver exceptional client service.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
