The Opportunity:
Day-to-Day You Will:
Lead end-to-end audit engagements across Financial Services, from planning and risk assessment through execution, review and finalisation.
Manage complex, higher-risk and non-routine audits, including technical accounting matters and judgement areas.
Partner with client leaders (CFOs, Finance Heads, Risk and Audit Committees) to deliver clear, timely outcomes and practical insights.
Identify audit and business risks and translate them into robust audit responses and value-adding recommendations.
Assess the effectiveness of processes and controls, including environments with heightened regulatory expectations.
Coach, mentor and develop teams to create a culture of quality, confidence and continuous improvement.
Maintain exceptional audit quality, ensuring effective application of KPMG methodology, auditing standards and GAAP/IFRS requirements.
Own client deliverables and engagement economics - scope, budgets, timelines, resourcing and stakeholder expectations.
