Maintain and continuously improve technical documentation and control strategies.Your tasks in detail:
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for advanced aerospace manufacturing systems
- Program and configure PLC systems (Siemens and/or Beckhoff) as well as robotic systems and related hardware
- Develop electrical schematics, control concepts, and system architectures
- Ensure full compliance with CE directives, machine safety standards, and industrial regulations
- Take ownership of installation, commissioning, and optimization phases
- Deliver hands-on technical training to internal teams
- Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and cross-functional engineering teams
YOUR PROFILE
Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent; alternatively, certified technician (state-certified)
Several years (at least 3) of hands-on experience in automation engineering for production systems
Proven and strong experience in PLC programming with ideally Beckhoff (optionally strong background with Siemens TIA Portals)
Familiarity with robotics programming and strong understanding of electronics (sensors, actuators)
- Experience with CE certification processes and machine safety standards
Structured and independent working style combined with a creative approach to technical challenges
Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a high sense of responsibility
