Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of modern web and API-based applications. The role involves manual, automation, and AI-assisted testing in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform manual and automation testing across UI, API, and backend systems
• Develop automation scripts using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
• Conduct API testing using Postman / REST Assured
• Identify, track, and validate defects using Jira
• Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Validate functionality against business requirements
• Collaborate with development and product teams in Agile sprints
• Generate test reports, metrics, and quality insights
• Leverage AI tools to improve test coverage and efficiency

Qualifications

Required Skills

• 3+ years experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing, SDLC, STLC
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks
• Experience in API testing and SQL validation
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of Java / Python / JavaScript
• Experience with Git and defect tracking tools

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon Q)
• Exposure to:
  • Test case generation & optimization
  • Smart test execution / defect prediction
  • AI-based log analysis & anomaly detection
• Understanding of self-healing frameworks / intelligent locators
