Key Responsibilities:

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases based on functional and technical specifications
• Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and UAT
• Log, track, and verify bugs in issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality
• Work alongside automation engineers and contribute to automated test planning
• Occasionally write or maintain basic automated tests using tools like Playwright, Karate, or Cypress
• Write small scripts or automation utilities when needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
• Strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC/STLC, and defect lifecycle
• Familiarity with at least one programming language: TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python
• Basic experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Karate, or similar
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
• Knowledge of performance or load testing tools
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
