Joe Cooper Ford of Shawnee is accepting applications for an additional Service Advisor. Our Service Advisors are responsible for:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair matters
• Communicating effectively between customers, managers, and technicians
• Listening to and understanding customer problems
• Arranging appropriate service/repairs
• Setting and managing expectations for customers and technicians
• Explaining needed repairs and recommended maintenance to customers
• Ensuring customer satisfaction with repair quality and timeliness
• Working productively in a fast-paced team environment
• Delivering world-class customer service

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience preferred
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
• Highly professional and dependable
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Basic computer and internet skills. Experience with CDK and/or X-Time preferred
