Automotive Tire / Lube Technician

Gordie's Auto & Tire is a family-owned auto repair and tire shop serving the Chesterfield and New Baltimore communities in Michigan. We are dedicated to helping customers maintain and repair their vehicles, and we pride ourselves on our supportive, team-oriented culture. As an Automotive Tire Technician/Lube Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Install, balance, and rotate tires
• Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and routine lube maintenance
• Inspect vehicles for additional needed maintenance or repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow safety protocols
• Assist with other automotive services as needed to support shop operations

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of automotive systems and tire services
• Ability to lift and perform manual tasks required for tire and lube work
• Valid driver’s license
• English proficiency sufficient for shop and customer communication
• Available to work a schedule with no weekends
• Available to work a schedule with no late nights

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior work experience as a tire technician and/or lube technician
