Job Title: Autonomous Mowing Specialist
Location: Bloomington and surrounding areas

Reports To: Operations Manager

Position Perfect for a Gamer Who Would Rather Be Outside

You’ll be the go-to build + support lead for our robotic mowing fleet—installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing autonomous mowers across commercial properties.

If you love tech, troubleshooting, and getting real-world systems to run flawlessly, this is your arena.

Build & Deploy (Installation / Setup)

• Install, configure, and calibrate autonomous mowing systems and charging solutions
• Test, tune, and validate performance to ensure clean routes and consistent results

Keep the Fleet Running (Maintenance / Repair / Troubleshooting)

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
• Troubleshoot issues in the field quickly—think “boss battles,” not paperwork marathons

Optimize the System (Performance / Efficiency)

• Monitor daily performance to ensure reliability and efficiency
• Collaborate with the team to improve routes, equipment performance, and sustainability

Teach the Team (Client & Crew Support)

• Train clients and team members on safe operation and best practices
• Help others get the best performance from the equipment

Document Like a Pro (Records & Reporting)

• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and performance notes

Stay Ahead (Innovation)

• Keep up with trends in autonomous landscaping technology
• Work with manufacturers to test equipment and provide feedback on improvements

Team First

• Assist with general landscape and maintenance duties as needed—we all jump in where it counts

What Makes You a Great Fit (Your “Player Build”)

Required:

• Comfortable working hands-on with equipment, tools, and technology outdoors
• Strong troubleshooting mindset—you diagnose, not panic
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with low-voltage wiring, boundary wire installs, GPS/mapping, or field service
• Comfortable using apps/tools for tracking, documentation, and reporting
