We're hiring confident, driven Appointment Setters and Business Development Representatives to join our clients' growing sales teams. You'll work with successful, established businesses across sectors like business technology and creative services. You'll be the first voice their prospects hear.
This is a phone-based role for someone who enjoys prospecting and gets past gatekeepers with ease. You should be able to hold credible conversations with business owners and senior decision-makers. The goal isn't to make calls for the sake of it. It's to find genuine opportunities and book quality meetings for directors and senior consultants.
Requirements
What you'll be doing
Making regular outbound B2B calls to new, previous and existing clients
Getting past receptionists and gatekeepers to reach the right decision-makers
Asking smart questions to uncover needs, pain points, contract dates and upcoming projects
Building rapport quickly and having natural, unscripted conversations
Booking qualified appointments and introductory meetings for directors and the sales team
Nurturing longer-term leads and following up persistently, without being pushy
Prospecting for new companies using databases and tools such as Apollo
Keeping accurate records of calls, opportunities and follow-ups in a CRM (e.g. Pipedrive)
Working towards clear daily and weekly call, conversation and appointment targets
Reporting back on conversations, market feedback and trends you're hearing
What you'll need
Proven experience in telesales, B2B appointment setting, lead generation or business development (essential)
Confidence speaking with business owners, Finance Directors, IT Managers and other senior decision-makers
Experience using a CRM and keeping records up to date
Excellent spoken and written English
Experience in telecoms, IT, managed print, technology, marketing, creative or professional services is a strong advantage
