Baker Assistant

The Baker Assistant at Esperamos Supermarket supports the head baker in producing high-quality baked goods and maintaining the efficiency of bakery operations. This role involves assisting with baking preparations, following recipes, and ensuring that bakery products meet quality standards. The Assistant Baker works collaboratively with the bakery team to fulfill customer orders and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including measuring, mixing, and shaping dough.
• Follow recipes and baking procedures to produce a variety of baked goods, such as bread, pastries, and desserts.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality and consistency.
• Help with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying the head baker of any shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery, including equipment cleaning and sanitization.
• Assist in packaging and labeling bakery products for display and sale.
• Provide support during peak hours by fulfilling customer orders and assisting with customer inquiries.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with the head baker and other bakery staff to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the head baker to support bakery operations.
