Pool, Beach and Watersports

Sandy Lane Hotel, an AAA Five Diamond, Forbes Five-Star exclusive resort and member of Leading Hotels of the World, is seeking to recruit people to work in the following positions across the resort.

Pool Attendant

The Pool Attendant will report to the Beach Manager and will be responsible for maintaining contact to our clientele, the cleanliness of the pool area and its furniture. They are responsible for following;

• the pool opening/ closing procedures and setting up the pool according to hotel occupancy.
• They are also required to meet and greet guests on arrival and departure at the pool in a courteous manner while ensuring that guests are seated in their choice of location and requests for towels and drinks are met in a timely manner.

Watersports Attendant

The Watersports Attendant will report to the Beach Manager and will be responsible for assisting and instructing guests with all water sports activities. In addition to maintaining all water sports equipment and established quality standards, They are responsible for

• Making reservations for activities and take guests on water sports activities
• Instructing guests with water sports activities

• Maintaining and adhering to all safety guidelines.

Beach Porter

The Beach Porter will report to the Beach Manager and will be responsible for maintaining contact to our clientele, the setting up of the beach, the cleanliness of the beach area and furniture. They are responsible for the following:

• the beach opening/ closing procedures and set up beach according to hotel occupancy
• Meet and Greet Guests on arrival and departure at the beach in a courteous manner
• Ensure that guests are seated in their location of choice and requests for towels and drinks are met in a timely manner
• Maintain the beach area in a clean and organized condition all the time.

These positions require successful candidates to have a flexible working style as long hours are required from time to time.
