Behavioral Health Clinic Operations Manager (40 hours per week) #4472

Position Summary:

The Behavioral Health Clinic Operational Manager is responsible for the daily administrative, operational, and financial management of the behavioral health department. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered, mental health and substance use services compliant with regulatory standards. The Manager works closely with clinic leadership, the medical director, behavioral health providers and clinical support staff to optimize clinic workflows, maintain regulatory compliance, manage revenue cycle performance, and foster a supportive environment for providers, staff and patients.

Job Relationships:

• Reports to Senior Director of Clinic Operations
• Collaborates for Behavioral Health Team
• Collaborates with RAMC employees

Education and Training Required:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive management experience within a healthcare setting preferred, with at least 2 years specifically in behavioral health, mental health, or substance abuse treatment environment preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, revenue cycle oversight, and regulatory compliance preferred.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of behavioral health billing codes, insurance verification, and prior authorization process.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EMR) systems and healthcare management software.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
