REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a technical background and expertise in biochemistry, immunology, large molecule and microbiology, and experience practicing before the USPTO that is commensurate with the candidate’s years in practice. Additional appreciation of organic chemistry, and bioinformatics is desired. Candidate must have a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school, CA Bar admission and be admitted (or have the ability to become admitted) to practice before the USPTO as a registered U.S. Patent Attorney. Ph.D preferable but not required if candidate has transferable/substantial IP diligence and prosecution experience in the Life Sciences sector.
