Boiler Technician

We are a growing Mechanical Contractor looking for experienced Boiler technicians to join our Service Division. Job Scope:

• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair commercial oil and gas boilers, hot water and steam heating equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance of commercial oil and gas boilers, hot water and steam heating equipment.
• Accurately document all job-specific troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on Service work orders and submit them to the Service Dispatcher in a timely manner
• Participate in Emergency On-Call Service rotation for installations and repairs
• Communicating effectively with customers and service team to build strong relationships internally and externally

Education: A High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), Vocational School Training is helpful but not required.

Experience: Four to ten years of related experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Computer Skills: Field to Base computer training will be provided.

Certificates & Licenses required: Massachusetts oil burner license

Other Requirements: Valid Drivers License - Class D & OSHA 10 Certification

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (TRADE SPECIFIC):

Must have a strong working knowledge of commercial Heating systems including Steam, Hot water and controls, pumps, piping, associated controls, and electrical circuits.

All Trades - Must have knowledge and familiarity with local/regional Vendors and Manufacturers Representatives
