Neptune Pacific operates market leading brands in shipping and logistics services across 18 Pacific Island markets. It is the largest carrier in its core Pacific Island markets operating eight container ships and servicing 18 Pacific Island nations.

The Bond Officer will effectively manage and coordinate bonded cargo operations, including the transfer and secure storage of cargo, registration of manifests in ASYCUDA World, processing of Cargo Release Authorizations, documentation management, and customs compliance. The Bond Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate control and timely movement of bonded cargo while maintaining compliance with all applicable Customs requirements, legislation, and company procedures.

• Assist the team to transfer all import cargo from the Ground Handling agent to Transam warehouse.
• Register shipment and handover for clearance.
• Carry out regular bond check and make summary of all cargo on hand and advise the Freight Agent accordingly.
• Register all manifest in Asycuda World and assist with the clearance.
• Once Cargo is customs cleared, assist with the release of cargo and hand over for delivery.
• Update both local and international clients for the cargo status.
• Do weekly check with Suva office for all cargo cleared and uncleared and action promptly.
• Invoice all shipments both locally and international customers.
• Filing of documentation on regular basis.
• Any other tasks assigned
• Assist other departments as and when required.

Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience

• Experience in customs, bonded warehouse, freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics.

Skills

• Knowledge of Customs procedures, cargo handling, and compliance.
• Experience with ASYCUDA  and cargo documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced operational environment.
