Bookkeeper/Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to manage our financial records using **QuickBooks Online and Desktop **. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial data is up to date, accessible, and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Record and categorize expenses, income, and other financial transactions
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Prepare financial documentation for audits and tax filings
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with integrity

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop is required
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with payroll processing and tax reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Certification in QuickBooks (preferred but not required)
