[Bosch R&D – Internship] Testing Tool Development Intern

• Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture pushbelt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering R&D center (Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd).
• In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, pushbelt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

1. Low-Code Application & Tool Development

• Design, develop, and implement low-code applications, dashboards, and web-based features to support laboratory processes and application for equipments.
• Maintain, enhance, and continuously improve existing lab applications.
• Develop tools for managing, visualizing, and analyzing laboratory data.
• Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for lab personnel.
• Collaborate closely with Testing Engineers and lab personnel to understand requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions.
• Perform application testing, troubleshoot issues, and fix bugs to ensure stable and reliable functionality.
• Document application logic, workflows, and data structures.
• Create user guides and work instructions for developed applications.

2. Laboratory & Testing Support

• Prepare test samples and support execution of different tests (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical,…) under supervision.
• Support laboratory management activities, including 5S, safety compliance, inventory management, document control.

Qualifications

1. Education

• Undergraduate students currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or any related fields.

2. Technical Skills

• Interest or basic experience in low-code/no-code platforms, especially Power Apps and Power BI.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g. Python) is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of data handling or database concepts.
• Data management, Process flow visualization.
• Good computer skills; proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Good English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Analytical, proactive, and open-minded working attitude.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Good self-planning and fast learning ability.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical users.
