Brand Designer
AI Summary
A Senior Brand Designer at Pace defines and evolves the company's visual identity and brand system, creating campaigns and design assets across marketing channels for an AI-driven insurance operations platform.
About this role
Company
Pace is the AI operations partner for the world's leading insurers. We combine the speed of AI agents with expert review by our insurance operations team to automate insurance tasks. Almost $400bn per year is spent on outsourcing in financial services every year. We're here to change that, working side-by-side with some of the largest companies in the world.
Role
We're looking for a Senior Brand Designer to help define how Pace shows up in the world. You'll build on our identity, create the visual system behind an enduring insurance brand, and turn ambitious ideas into campaigns that capture the imagination of the industry.
What this looks like in practice:
Architect Pace's visual system: Evolve our identity across typography, color, imagery, illustration, motion, layout, and art direction.
Set the creative bar: Establish a clear point of view for how Pace should look and feel, and raise the quality of work across every marketing channel.
Create defining brand moments: Concept and execute campaigns, launches, out-of-home work, events, editorial projects, and unexpected brand bets that make Pace memorable.
Design across the full journey: Shape the website, customer stories, product launches, social content, sales materials, and physical experiences with the same level of care.
Create leverage: Develop templates, guidance, systems, and trusted partners that help a fast-growing team move quickly without compromising quality.
You're a great fit if you:
Have built or meaningfully evolved a visual identity and can show how it became a usable, coherent system.
Pair sharp conceptual thinking with exceptional visual craft. You can find the big idea and carry it through the final details.
Bring a strong point of view, challenge safe choices constructively, and can earn trust across disciplines.
Bonus:
Experience in brand strategy, motion, design engineering, or photo / video.
Experience managing and directing external creative partners.
Experience building a brand function or visual system from the ground up at an early-stage company.
Team characteristics
The Pace team has a couple of defining characteristics:
Integrity: The most important thing is working with good people who want to have a massive impact on the world. Our team genuinely wants to do the best work of their careers and know it’ll take 5-10 years of focus to deliver.
Ambition: The ambition for this company is not just a good vertical AI business but a $100bn+ outcome across vertical services. We’re looking for people that rise that level of ambition. Often times this means they want to be the best at what they do, become leaders at scale or one day start their own company. Pace will be the best place to learn, deliver impact and advance your path to do something great.
At Pace, we're building a talent-dense team where teammates grow into leaders. This might mean growing into a world-class IC, owning a line of business, or leading teams. Whichever your path, we want to support you to grow at Pace and beyond for the long-term.
We're a <40 person team based in-person across New York and London and are lucky to be perfectly positioned with leading customers and top investors to make a real impact on one of the largest industries in the world.
