Position Summary
Northstar Preschools is seeking a dependable, flexible, and nurturing Breaker/Support Teacher to assist in classrooms serving children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. This position plays a vital role in maintaining smooth daily operations by providing staff breaks, assisting with daily routines, and supporting classrooms wherever needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled breaks and coverage for classroom teachers
- Assist with infant care including feeding, diapering, and soothing
- Support potty training efforts in toddler and preschool classrooms
- Help supervise nap time and ensure a calm, safe environment
- Assist with meal and snack times following CACFP guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in classrooms
- Support classroom management and positive behavior guidance
- Help with playground supervision
- Communicate professionally with staff and families as needed
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to pass background check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation
