Brews & Blends Cafe Team Member

We are looking for enthusiastic Team Members who are friendly, dependable, eager to learn, and excited to serve drinks and snacks to our guests. This position offers competitive pay, flexible shifts, and a welcoming work environment. You will gain valuable customer service and food service experience.

This is a part‑time position.

Current Operating Hours (Monday–Friday)
• 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

New Operating Afternoon Hours
• Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Friday: 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM

New Operating Weekend Hours
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide friendly, outgoing, and professional customer service.
2. Greet guests, take orders accurately, and prepare coffee, smoothies, and café menu items.
3. Operate the register, handle payments, and balance the cash drawer.
4. Maintain a clean, organized café area including counters, equipment, and seating areas.
5. Follow safe food handling rules and sanitation procedures.
6. Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to supervisor.
7. Follow opening and closing procedures consistently.
8. Attend training and staff meetings as scheduled.
9. Respond calmly and appropriately in emergencies.
10. Promote a positive atmosphere and uphold City and facility policies.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

1. Must be 16 years of age or older.
2. Jackson County Food Handler certification (provided by the City if not already obtained).
3. CPR & First Aid certification (provided if not already obtained).
4. Previous food or beverage service experience preferred, but not required — we’ll train you!
