Business Automation & AI Intern/Working Student (f/m/d)

Your Role

We are looking for a Business Automation & AI Intern or Working Student (f/m/d) to join our task force for company-wide automation and AI adoption. Your mission is to help drive LIQID’s transition into an AI-enabled organization by embedding LLM applications and agentic process automation into the way we work every day.

In this role, you will work closely with the management and key stakeholders across the company to identify bottlenecks, rethink workflows, and turn complex processes into scalable, intelligent systems. You will experiment with emerging technologies, support teams in adopting AI-powered workflows, and gain hands-on experience in solving complex problems at the intersection of business and technology.

Through your work, you will actively shape how a leading fintech navigates the paradigm shift toward AI – from Sales and Product to Finance and Engineering – and help build the foundation for long-term operational excellence.

What exactly will you do?

• Collaborate across departments to analyze key business processes and identify bottlenecks with significant automation potential

• Design, build, and optimize automated solutions using low-code/no-code tools and custom scripts

• Support the company-wide adoption of AI-powered use cases to drive process improvements

• Explore and test new tools and technologies that strengthen LIQID’s automation and AI capabilities

What you bring

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field

• You are passionate about AI and process innovation

• You have gained first experience with automation platforms (e.g. Make, Zapier, n8n) and basic understanding of how data, systems, and workflows interact in modern organizations

• You have an analytical mindset and a structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style

• You’ve proven yourself in a high performance environment with previous internships in startups, technology or strategy consulting

• You have very good English skills; German is a plus
