As a Business Consultant for EU-Funded Programs, you will play a critical role in supporting clients to develop, structure, and secure European funding while strengthening their business models, financial planning, and long-term sustainability.

You will work closely with clients, project teams, and funding stakeholders to translate strategic and operational needs into viable, compliant, and impact-driven project proposals under EU funding schemes.

You Will:

  • Analyze business operations, market positioning, and growth strategies to develop robust business plans aligned with EU-funded program objectives (e.g. Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg, Structural Funds).
  • Support the design and preparation of EU funding applications, contributing to business, impact, and sustainability sections.
  • Develop and review project budgets, forecasts, and financial models in line with EU eligibility and cost-reporting requirements.
  • Gather, define, and structure business and functional requirements, translating them into actionable insights for clients and project partners.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance, financial rules, and reporting obligations related to EU-funded projects.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs and impact indicators, ensuring alignment with grant agreements and program objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, facilitating communication between technical teams, management, and funding bodies.

Requirements

  • Experience as a business consultant, analyst, or advisor, preferably in EU-funded or publicly funded projects.
  • Strong understanding of EU funding frameworks, regulatory environments, and reporting standards.
  • Proven expertise in business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with KPIs, performance monitoring, and impact assessment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Confidence working with diverse stakeholders and international project partners.
