Business development Intern in hyper-scale startup

At Vicoland, we give the gig economy a new dimension: Virtual Companies, in short: “Vicos”. We invented Vicos to allow freelancers to team up and act as if they were a real company, competing successfully for interesting, large projects.

Our SaaS platform provides all the tech which enables the collaboration of Vicos and their clients & a marketplace that matches them together.

Our Vicos are already transforming how digital projects are done - since our launch last year, they worked with several world-renowned clients and partners such as **Netflix, Smart, Samsung, Tupperware, BectonDickinson, HDI and Colliers **. We were mentioned by Forbes and Forrester as the leading marketplace for freelance teams.

We are currently facing a hyper-growth stage where our demand jumps by 20% month over month, and are focusing on keeping this demand coming in

To support our business development team in meeting this challenge, we are looking for an business development intern with a keen interest in enabling the scalability of our business.

We're a team of 40+ people located across Europe and the US.

Tasks

🛠 What you’ll do

• Work directly with the CEO and Head of business developmet to translate strategy and key targets into concrete action plans & execute on them
• Come up with innovative ideas to attract the best talent and clients to Vicoland. You will experiment with tons of tools and technologies to drive results. From marketing campaigns to low-code applications, ChatGPT and data-driven insights.
• Support identifying and building up marketing channels in a high-pace environment
• Optimisation of the CRM, e.g. dashboards, data quality
• Creation of marketing materials, e.g. variations of pitch decks for important meetings
• Operational support in creating offer, and Responding to Requests For Proposals (RFPs) or Requests For Information (RFIs)
• A broad range of responsibilities and solve new challenges every day as they come up

Requirements

• Ability and motivation to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and work-intensive environment - we're looking for drive. Our team wants to achieve big things within the next 3 months
• An excellent track record in fast-paced work environments (Entrepreneurship, startups, company building, management consulting) demonstrating swift professional growth is a plus
• Strong attention to detail & hands-on mentality
• Affinity of working with digital tools. Make your own job easier with creative solutions.
• Keen ability to grasp complexity quickly and to focus on key issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
