About this role
OBDeleven is all about making car tech easy and accessible for everyone. For over 10 years, we’ve been building powerful yet simple diagnostic and customization tools for car lovers worldwide.
As we continue to grow globally, we're looking for a Business Development Manager who will create new long-term growth sources for OBDeleven through strategic partnerships, product development initiatives, and new business models.
This role owns the full journey — from spotting the opportunity to building the business case, negotiating the deal, and delivering measurable results. You'll work closely with Product, Tech/R&D, Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Finance to bring initiatives from idea to commercial launch.
What you'll do:
- Identify and pursue new strategic and product partnership opportunities in Lithuania and international markets.
- Shape partnership ideas, validate their potential, and assess their strategic and commercial fit with OBDeleven.
- Build well-supported business cases covering market potential, customer value, revenue, costs, investment, risks, ROI, and expected payback period.
- Present and defend initiatives to the Management Team, providing a clear recommendation on the next steps.
- Lead negotiations with external partners on pricing, revenue share, volumes, commitments, territories, integrations, and other collaboration terms.
- Act as the business owner of approved partnerships, coordinating implementation internally and with external partners.
- Generate HW and SW product improvement ideas based on customer needs, market trends, competitor analysis, and commercial potential.
- Build the case for product development initiatives by clearly demonstrating their impact on revenue, customer acquisition, retention, product usage, competitiveness, or access to new markets.
- Coordinate approved product development initiatives from business case through to full commercial launch.
- Build a short- and long-term pipeline of strategic opportunities and proactively plan potential collaborations ahead.
- Identify high-potential distributors and commercial representation partners, lead negotiations, and ensure successful onboarding.
- After launch, evaluate actual initiative performance against the business case and initiate corrective actions when results do not meet the plan.
We expect:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Product/Commercial Development, or a similar role, preferably within an international technology, SaaS, automotive tech, or connected hardware company.
- Strong commercial mindset and the ability to turn an idea into a numbers-driven business case.
- Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, product/business development, consulting, or a similar role.
- Ability to independently conduct market, competitor, and potential partner analysis and make well-reasoned decisions based on available information.
- Strong financial literacy, including the ability to model revenue, costs, ROI, payback, and different scenarios.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- An ownership mindset - taking responsibility not only for the idea or agreement, but also for its successful implementation and tangible results.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects while working with Product, Tech/R&D, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance, and other teams.
- Interest in automotive, technology, and digital products is a strong advantage.
- Professional fluency in Lithuanian and strong spoken and written English skills.
