Business Editorial Intern (Unpaid)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and curious Business Editorial Intern to join our editorial team. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in business, media, journalism, and digital content to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced media environment.

The intern will work closely with the editorial team, supporting the development and production of business-focused content across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the editorial team with researching business, industry, and market-related topics.

• Support writers and editors with article research and fact-checking.

• Conduct online research to gather relevant information, statistics, and industry insights.

• Assist with identifying potential story ideas and emerging business trends.

• Help with proofreading and reviewing articles for grammar, spelling, accuracy, and consistency.

• Support the team in preparing and updating digital content.

• Assist with monitoring business news and developments that may be relevant to the publication.

• Help with other editorial tasks and projects as required by the team.

What We’re Looking For

• An interest in business, journalism, media, economics, or current affairs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Good research and attention-to-detail skills.

• A curious mindset and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.

• Good organisational and time-management skills.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.

• Previous editorial, writing, or research experience is an advantage but not required.
