Excellence is coming to Glenview, at a restaurant called LAGO, the creation and vision of Fabio Viviani. With an emphasis on steak and fine libation you will experience Italian tradition with an innovative twist. The cuts are only the thickest and finest and the seafood is unsurpassed. The atmosphere is relaxed, while at the same time, sophisticated with a Neighborhood feel. You may even catch a glimpse of Fabio himself. Compensation: Base wage of $9.00/hour plus tips. Team members are guaranteed to earn at least $15.00/hour in accordance with applicable wage laws, with the opportunity to earn more based on gratuities.

Duties:

• Provide genuine, high-quality hospitality in a timely manner
• Help ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well cared for
• Support servers, bartenders, and other team members throughout service
• Deliver food to the appropriate tables and clearly announce each dish
• Pre-bus, clear, clean, and reset tables
• Refill water and assist with other guest needs as requested
• Stock and maintain server stations, the bar, and other service areas
• Transition between food runner and busser responsibilities based on service and guest needs
• Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas
• Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Maintain an energetic, professional, and positive attitude when interacting with guests and team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• A passion for hospitality and creating an excellent dining experience
• Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, dependable, and self-motivated attitude
• Ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift more than 30 pounds
