What is JetZero?

Today’s aircraft contribute around 4% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.

JetZero is developing a blended-wing body (BWB) aircraft. It uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

What You'll Do:

The selected candidate will be responsible to build and lead a team of specialists who will integrate inputs from internal and external stakeholders to develop the Cabin and Cargo Systems features of the JetZero Blended Wing Body Aircraft, including but not limited to the following commodities :

  • Lighting
  • Monuments Electrical (Galleys, Lavatories, etc.)
  • Cabin Management System
  • In-Seat Power Supply System
  • In-Flight Entertainment System
  • In-Flight Connectivity System
  • Cabin Surveillance System
  • Water & Waste Systems
  • Passenger Oxygen System
  • Cargo Systems

Individual and team activities include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop interface and integration requirements and digital models with internal teams and external commodity suppliers and manage same through the product lifecycle, from development through Entry Into Service and beyond
  • Develop and release parts/models and manufacturing installations and support certification team with applicable documentation
  • Develop and deploy processes and tools in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Manage supplier development and related governance activities

What You Bring:

  • Previous development and leadership experience with Commercial or Corporate Aircraft Cabin Systems development (10 years or more)
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of Siemens Suite : NX, Teamcenter, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of digital twin environments or model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
  • Understanding of Aircraft Systems requirements and regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and installation standards
  • Collaborative and innovative spirit

Compensation:

Our compensation package is a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees. The range for this role is $160,000 - $195,000. We consider a number of factors when presenting a final offer, including geography, internal equity and years of experience and expertise.

Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners.
  • The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view JetZero from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.

Depending on the position you are interviewing for, there may also be a Take Home Exercise as part of the interview proccess. Our assessments seek to test the hard skills required to do the job. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day.
