We’re looking for a skilled Cable Jointer / Electrical Fitter to join a well-established electricity infrastructure team. This is a great opportunity to work across both underground cables and substation electrical work, gaining variety and hands-on experience in a supportive team environment.

About the role

You’ll be involved in:

• Installing, jointing, and terminating low and high voltage underground cables

• Electrical fitting and maintenance in substations and network assets

• Fault finding and repairs across the network

• Supporting new installations, upgrades, and projects

• Collaborating with field crews and project teams

• Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards

What we’re looking for

• Experience as a Cable Jointer, Electrical Fitter, or both

• Relevant electrical trade qualification

• Experience in electricity distribution networks

• Current EWRB registration and practising licence (or working towards it)

• Commitment to health, safety, and quality workmanship

• Full Class 1 driver licence
