Camera Assistant/ Equipment Handler

We are seeking to appoint a Camera Assistant/ Equipment Handler who will support daily operational, production, or hospitality activities by ensuring timely movement, setup, and maintenance of equipment, materials, and supplies. The role is responsible for assisting teams on the ground, maintaining readiness of tools and equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow across departments or service areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport equipment, materials, and supplies between departments, workstations, or locations as required.
• Set up, arrange, and dismantle equipment for operations, events, or production activities.
• Ensure all equipment is handled safely, stored properly, and maintained in good working condition.
• Assist production teams with on-ground support tasks.
• Conduct basic checks to ensure equipment is functional before and after use.
• Report damaged, missing, or faulty equipment to the relevant supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and equipment rooms.
• Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines at all times.
• Respond quickly to ad-hoc requests from supervisors or team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a runner, helper, logistics, or equipment handling role in production/events.
• Basic understanding of equipment handling and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as required by the role.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Physically fit and able to work on active, fast-paced tasks.
• Team player with a cooperative and responsive attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts if needed.
